State of the State 2010

It's Arnold Schwarzenegger's final State of the State address as governor of California and he's got his legacy on his mind. We'll listen live to the speech at 10 a.m. and follow with in-studio analysis by Jean Ross, Executive Director of the California Budget Project, Republican strategist Sal Russo and Barbara O'Connor, Director of the Institute for the Study of Politics and Media at Sacramento State. Last year's State of the State was short and grim, but this year's may be a little different, O'Connor said, as the Governor focuses on federal stimulus money the state is getting, as well as public works projects and the environment. But it may be hard to maintain a positive attitude, because later in the week, the Governor is expected to roll out his budget proposal, which is certain to include more deep cuts.
