Amador Winemaker Amador County winemakers hold their annual winter wine festival this weekend. One of those winemakers is Chaim Gur-Arieh, owner of the CG Di Arie Winery between Plymouth and Placerville. Gur-Arieh is also a scientist and inventor. Among his many inventions was the process behind Cap'n Crunch cereal.

Bach Festival There's a lot of music in town this weekend and next for fans of baroque. It's the Sacramento Bach Festival and it starts tomorrow. Over the five concerts, there'll be orchestral, piano and organ recitals of music by Johann Sebastian Bach and his contemporaries.
The Sacramento Bach Festival: "Bravo Bach!" presented by "St. Mark's Presents" will include five concerts opening at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 6th with A Bach Sampler. The other four concerts are scheduled March 7th, 12th, 13th and 14th. All concerts will be held in the Sanctuary of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 2391 St. Mark's Way, Sacramento.
Ed Sullivan Book The sotry of TV legend Ed Sullivan is told in a new book called "Right Here on Our Stage Tonight." The author is Gerald Nachman, formerly a columnist and a feature writer with the San Francisco Chronicle. He spoke recently with Insight guest host Douglas Everett.
