Memories of the Manhattan Project John Jungerman, professor emeritus of physics, will be recalling the effort to build the first atomic bomb tonight on Davis Community Television (Channel 15 on local cable). Jungerman was a graduate student at UC Berkeley and Los Alamos during World War II, when he worked on the Manhattan Project. He witnessed the first test of an atomic bomb, 'Trinity,' at White Sands, N.M. in 1945. We'll talk with him about what he saw.
