Among the bills waiting for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger
when he returns from Asia this week is one establishing a
statewide health exchange. It would create one of the largest
health insurance pools in the country, starting in 2014.
The health exchange is a central piece of the new federal
health care law, but several national polls show few people
understand it.
