Second Saturday Shooting A shooting early Sunday morning after Midtown Sacramento's Second Saturday Art Walk has community members, businesses and leaders worried about the safety of the event as it continues to grow in popularity. We'll talk about it with some of the people involved.

Long-term Unemployed With unemployment in California topping the 12 percent mark, we talk with a laid-off sheet metal worker from Fair Oaks man who has been unemployed for a long-time.

"A Dog's Purpose" Author W. Bruce Cameron is best known as the creator of "8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter," a book that was made into a TV sitcom starring John Ritter. Bruce has branched out into fiction with his latest novel, "A Dog's Purpose," and he will be speaking about it this Saturday at The Grape Gatsby in the Coloma Valley.

W. Bruce Cameron will be the featured speaker at The Grape Gatsby at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18th at Venezio Winery on Highway 49 in Coloma.

Blame Sally San Francisco-based all-female band Blame Sally is performing in Sutter Creek on Saturday before heading out on a European tour in support of their new album, "Live at Stern Grove." We'll talk with them about it.

Comedian Dean Obeidallah Arab-American Comedian Dean Obeidallah - who last visited Insight when the Axis of Evil Comedy Tour came through town - is performing Thursday at the Punchline in Sacramento. We'll talk with him about issues in the news regarding his faith.
