Insight: Budget Update / Crocker Expansion / title of show / Grievous Angel

Budget Update A budget deal has finally been reached this morning in Californa and we'll check in with Capitol Bureau reporter Ida Lieszkovszky.

Crocker Expansion The $100 million expansion of Sacramento's Crocker Museum is complete and a big community celebration is planned this weekend. We'll take an audio tour of some of the highlights of the new museum and then talk with director Lial Jones about it.

[title of show] Sacramento's New Helvetia Theatre presents the Northern California premiere of [title of show], a critically acclaimed and award-winnning off-Broadway musical about four friends who scramble to create an original musical to submit to the New York Musical Theatre Festival. We'll talk with director Erin Island and two of the actors about it.

"Grievous Angel" "Grievous Angel: The Legend of Gram Parsons" is a theatrical concert that was inspired by an interview Michael Bate did with Gram in March 1973. It turned out to be his last recorded conversation, as he overdosed and died six months later. It's playing at the Palms in Winters tonight. You'll meet Bate and hear a song from the concert.
