Hospital Infections California just released infection data for most of the general acute care hospitals around the state and infections are more common than the general public knows. Health Care Reporter Deborah Schoch has produced a series of stories on hospital infections in California and we'll talk with her about the data, what patients can learn from it and what hospitals are doing to lower infection rates.
"I AM EQUAL" A photo project that seeks to empower individuals to speak out about human and civil rights issues is currently open in Sacramento. "I Am Equal" draws attention to issues of child slavery, animal cruelty, immigration and gay and lesbian rights through photography. You'll meet the co-founders and hear about the project.
