Budget Reaction Governor Jerry Brown released his draft budget yesterday and it includes big cuts and spending limits. We'll get reaction from Jean Ross of the California Budget Project and Jon Coupal with the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers' Association.

Orange Grove School The Orange Grove School, which is part of the San Juan School District and serves disabled adults, is in danger of being closed due to budget cuts. There is no other program like this in Northern California and parents, teachers and students don't want it to close. The school board will hold an open forum today to discuss the closure of Adult ED and other possible cuts.

"The Latte Rebellion" A Modesto woman has released her debut novel for teens, "The Latte Rebellion." Sarah Jamila Stevenson tells you her book, which focuses on two teen girls who start a school group standing up for the rights of brown people.

Talking to Animals An Amador County resident is an "animal communicator" and claims he can talk with all animals living and dead. How does he do it, how did he discover he could and how does he deal with skeptics? You'll meet Charles Peden and hear about his work.
