Budget Big Picture Now that we've had a week to examine the Governor's draft budget proposal, is it an honest budget? Do the numbers add up? And what does it mean for California's overall economy? Today on Insight, we'll talk about it with Stephen Levy, senior economist and director of the Center for Continuing Study of the California Economy in Palo Alto.

K Street Redevelopment Three new businesses are opening on K Street today despite the slow economic recovery - the Dive Bar, a pizza joint and a nightclub that caters to the 30-something crowd. The project was completed using Redevelopment funds, which Gov. Jerry Brown has proposed doing away with. Guest host David Watts Barton talks with developer George Karpaty at Dive Bar about the project and how it got done.

Autism and Vaccines A controversial study that linked autism in children to some vaccinations is being called a scientific fraud. We'll talk with an Associate Professor Judy Van de Water from the MIND Institute at UC Davis.

"Painting Bolinas" Filmmaker Wendy Elkin is presenting her film "Painting Bolinas" at the Sac Film and Music Festival this weekend. It's a full-length feature about a 90-year-old painter known as the "cake decorator" because of his massive layering technique. She'll join us in studio.
