Insight: Taxes on the Ballot / Marcos Breton / Richard Kluger / Come Hell and High Water

Taxes on the Ballot? California's Senate Republicans are not going to vote to place taxes on a special election ballot, according to Sen. Bob Dutton. But a smaller group, led by Sen.Tony Strickland, has said that they would consider putting the tax measure on the ballot as long as an identical measure to decrease taxes was placed there as well. Today on Insight, we'll talk with Sen. Strickland about it.

Marcos Breton What impact would the Kings leaving really have on Sacramento? We'll talk about this and more issues in the news, including the city's looming $40 million budget deficit, with Sacramento Bee columnist Marcos Breton.

We'll talk with the Berkeley-based writer about "The Bitter Waters of Medicine Creek."
