Tsunami Update An 8.9 magnitude earthquake shook Japan last night and sent a tsunami across the pacific, with a tsunami watch issued for the coast of California this morning. School Cuts School districts across California are preparing to make massive cuts yet again, including doing away with school sports and extracurricular activities, as the state struggles to close a huge budget gap.
