Cuts to Higher Ed Under Gov. Jerry Brown's current budget proposal, public higher education is facing a cumulative budget reduction of at least $1.4 billion. Where will the cuts be made and how will they impact students and faculty? We'll talk about it with Robert Turnage, CSU Assistant Vice Cancellor for Budget; Kelly Ratliff, Associate Vice Chancellor for Budget Resources and Institutional Research at UC Davis; Nicole Anderson, Student Member of the CSU Board of Trustees and Kevin Wehr, President of the Capitol Chapter of the California Faculty Association and Associate Professor of Sociology at Sacramento State.

Joseph Johnson Joseph Johnson, principal cellist of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and principal cellist-designate of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, will be playing the Elgar cello concerto with the Sacramento Philharmonic this weekend. You'll meet him.
