Strange Title, I Grant You

This week a collection of b-sides … of sorts. Since Off Air delves deep into the latest new music, it's easy to play a really great album once only to forget it in future episodes.

In arguably the DEEPEST post-fund drive haze, I revisit records from No Age, Sister Crayon, an EP from crooner Tony Castles; all in an effort to respect the records worth another spin.

In the Flow

In the Flow - LOGORoss Hammond is the organizer behind Sacramento's experimental music festival, In The Flow. On May 12th it begins it's 4th year with acts like NSAA, Garage Jazz Architects, Thin Air Orchestra AND legendary bassist Mike Watt headlines the first night at The Press Club.

I spoke with Ross about the festival's origins and how it's evolved.
