The festival will feature films on all things bike, from bicycle messengers to mini-bikes. Organizers, perhaps not surprisingly, hope you will come on your bike.

ERIC JOHNSON: "So we have bike parking at the bike festival. It's a fun place for people to bike to as a destination. There is food there and lots of music and special events."

That is Eric Johnson from the Sacramento Area  Council of Governments which is helping to organize the festival. 

It's all part of bike month in Sacramento. There are all kind of events and incentives to encourage people to ride more. Restaurants will give discounts if you arrive on a bike, to a two million mile challenge.
