Insight: Arena Financial Plan / Osama Bin Laden & 9/11 / Aggie Lager / Jim Breuer

Arena Financial Plan Think Big's recently unveiled arena financing plan raises as many questions as it answers.  We'll speak with Sacramento Business Journal reporter, Kelly Johnson, about the missing pieces of the sports and entertainment complex financial puzzle.

Osama Bin Laden's Role in 9/11 A local professor presents his research on Osama Bin Laden's role in the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks.  Even though Bin Laden financed the attacks, trained hijackers and was the loudest and clearest voice for attacking the United States, it has led to an oversimplified narrative of al-Qa`ida and Bin Ladin's leadership through the history of the organization. We talk with UC Davis Professor Flagg Miller about his work.

Aggie Lager UC Davis' athletics department has teamed up with a local beer brewery in an attempt to generate funds for athletic scholarships by selling "Aggie Lager."  We'll speak with UC Davis Senior Associate Athletic Director, Cindy Spiro, and Sudwerk beer maker, Jay Prahl, about their unconventional collaboration.

Jim Breuer The Saturday Night Live actor famous for his Joe Pesci impersonations and co-starring role in "Half Baked" joins us.  Jim Breuer will talk about his relationship with his father, which is the basis for a new documentary film, and his attempt to get back to his "family comedy" roots. Breuer will be headlining the Punch Line this weekend.
