Chris Lehane The Sacramento City Council will look at some new financing options for building a sports and entertainment complex downtown tonight. These proposals include selling city selling city-owned parking to private companies and taking advantage of a federal law that attracts foreign investment by offering visas to investors and their families. We'll talk with the executive director of the Think Big arena task force, Chris Lehane, to see how much money these proposals are expected to generate, and whether the city council will reject them.

Infant Gut Microbes and Dangers of Personal Care Fragrances A group of undergraduates from UC Davis spent their summer studying how nutrition affects the formation of gut microbes, which play an important role in human health, particularly in infants. Those students presented their findings Monday at a university symposia. We'll speak with them about what they found. Also, UC Davis graduate students have been researching how fragrances in personal care products may make them more appealing to consumers, but more dangerous for the environment and human health.
