Sacramento International Airport now has priority lanes for some travelers to avoid long lines at security checkpoints.
Laurie Slothower with the airport says all twelve airlines are providing access to the priority lane, for a cost, because business travelers and frequent fliers asked for it.
SLOTHOWER: "When they get to the security checkpoint, they should look for a sign that says 'Priority Lane.' And it has the logos of all the airlines in that terminal."
Slothower says customers requested the new lane after seeing priority lanes in other major airports. Priority lane access is available to travelers who either pay a fee or buy a first class ticket, depending on the airline.
