The United States Attorney's Eastern District office is going after some the property owners of some medical Marijuana dispensaries with civil forfeiture complaints.  A complaint was filed Thursday against the Sacramento Holistic Healing Center, also known as GRASS on Tenth Street.  The U.S. Attorney says the dispensary was warned once before to close its doors.

The complaint says the owner, Legacy Ventures LLC  was warned in October it was operating within a thousand feet of an elementary school and a high school and was asked to cease operations…but did not.

This is at least the second such action taken in the past month.  A similar action was taken against a Fresno pot shop.

A number of letters have also sent out to the owners of pot shops throughout the Eastern District notifying them they face forfeitures if marijuana sales continue.
