    The Ventanilla de Salud or “Health Window” is a program sponsored by the Mexican consulate to assist community members in finding health care at each of its locations in the United States. It directs clients to organizations that provide for them.

    The Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL) initiative is a 3-year project designed to prevent obesity in seven “zones” across California by promoting healthy environments. Sacramento’ s Valley Hi neighborhood is one of the zones.
