Over the weekend, someone spray painted several stone signs at the park off of 65th Street with white supremacist symbols and racial slurs. Meredith Linden was part of a neighborhood cleanup crew that helped pressure wash and clean up the park Tuesday.
LINDEN: "I don't know everyone on my block, but I know people from the other blocks just because we kind of coalesce here at the park and talk to each other. I can't imagine who would do it. You know? I don't understand it."
The park opened just three months ago. The Sacramento Police Department public information office says this appears to be an isolated incident.
The cleanup effort was organized by City Councilman Kevin McCarty.
