Orlando Arena Talks Mayor Kevin Johnson is in Orlando, Florida this week negotiating an arena deal with the National Basketball Association days before a final financing plan needs to be solidified.  The Sacramento Bee's Metropolitan Reporter, Ryan Lillis, joins us from Orlando with the latest in the developments.

Beer Week It's time for Beer Week again and one of this year's big draws is a chance to meet various beer brewers of the region.  We'll talk with the people in charge of brewing at Rhustaller, Sudwerks, and Rubicon Brewery about the different types of beers they craft and the ingredients they use.

Pacific to Tahoe Hiking Trail The Mendocino-Tahoe Conservancy, based in Nevada City, is planning an event on March 2nd to celebrate conservation pioneer John Olmsted.  Some of the Conservancy members are working on a hiking trail across California's 39th parallel which was inspired by Olmsted.  The celebration will be at the Saint Joseph's Cultural Center in Grass Valley to mark founder John Olmsted's birthday and to raise funds to continue John's legacy of land stewardship and nature trail development.

Handmade Bikes This weekend is the Handmade Bike Festival at the Community Center in Sacramento. People who build their bikes will be coming from all over the country to share their work and talk about making bikes, and perhaps even going on a ride or two.
