There are three people challenging incumbent Mayor, Kevin Johnson.  Leonard Padilla is a bounty hunter.  Jonathan Rewers is the Chair of the Parks and Recreation Commission.   And, Richard Jones is an insurance broker.

Betty Williams works for a staffing company and is President of the Sacramento NAACP.  She is challenging Bonnie Pannell for the District 8 seat.  Pannell says her work has decreased gang violence and increased participation in community programs by young people.

Mitch Netto is an information technologies consulant.  He is running on a pro-business platform against incumbent Kevin McCarty for the District 6 seat.  McCarty says he has written laws that got guns and truants off the streets.

The fields for Districts two and four have not been set. The field will be finalized by  Thursday.
