Michael Landau and his Group have just
released a new album called "Organic Instrumentals". Once again,
Landau proves to be the ultimate connoisseur of taste and tone as
he navigates an assortment of musical landscapes. Landau
contrasts some of the most melodically beautiful phrases ever
recorded with passionate guitar solos requiring amazing technical
dexterity and virtuosity. The Michael Landau Group are
performing live tomorrow, 3/16 at the State Theatre in Auburn.
The Auburn Placer Performing Arts Center presents The Michael
Landau Group in concert at 8 p.m. Friday, March 16, at the State
Theater, 985 Lincoln Way, Auburn. Social hour is at 7

Southwest A handful of Sacramento bands will be
representing the city's musical prowess this week at the country's
pre-eminent music festival, South by Southwest. Nick Brunner, host of
Capital Public Radio's Blue Dog Jam, will be
at the festival in Austin, Texas, following Sacramento bands and
getting the skinny from some of the scene's biggest musicians,
producers, and record label reps.
