Jake Mossawir is the Chief Financial Officer for the new Lake Tahoe Winter Games Exploratory Committee.   He says the mountains are ideal for skiing, but Reno and Sacramento could both hold events.

MOSSAWIR: "There are instances where a city like Sacramento, assuming that we have an entertainment and sports complex here that could accommodate Olympic-size sheets of ice, could hold the ice hockey elements, or figure skating element. There's been talk of a little Olympic village nearby. "

Mossawir hopes the new group will be ready to submit a bid next year for the 2020 Winter Games.  But the United States Olympic Committee says it will not accept bids until The U.S.O.C and International Olympic Committee have come to a new television revenue sharing agreement.
