As he prepared to fly out of Sacramento last night, Johnson released an open letter to the Maloof family regarding the deal to fund a new arena in Sacramento.

In the letter, he says he is happy to meet, and then made his case again that all parties agreed to a deal in Orlando on February 27th

The Maloofs made their case before the NBA Board of Governors that they shouldn't have to pay $3 million of the pre-development funds needed to get the arena project going.  The Mayor says those funds were part of the deal.

Johnson says that "under no circumstances will the City make material adjustments to the current terms of the deal."
