Both the Assembly and the Senate have scheduled floor sessions every day this week to deal with hundreds of bills.

The Assembly will consider a bill that repeals a tax break on out of state corporations and uses the money for middle class college scholarships. Members will also look at whether to allow California residents to register to vote as late as Election Day.

In the Senate, legislation to study the economic impact of closing state parks is on the agenda. Senators will also consider whether to create a pension plan for some private sector employees. Under that legislation, the state would run the program but not be held liable for payments.
