In District 2, Rob Kerth and Allen Wayne Warren were virtually tied with a third of the vote each. Kerth was happy to be one of the six candidates to survive the primary.
KERTH: "I think it's really exciting. We worked really hard, pulled in all kinds of volunteers and resources and were able to get into the runoff."
In District 4, Steve Hansen and Joseph Yee, held off Phyllis Newton for the top two spots and will face off in the fall election.
The top-two vote getters go to a runoff if no candidate in the primary gets more than 50 percent of the vote.
Bonnie Pannell retained her District 8 seat, beating Betty Williams by 6 percent of the vote.
In District 6, Kevin McCarty won easily over challenger Mitch Netto.
