The Proposition 30 campaign has collected almost $6.3 million and has more than $5 million cash on hand.
The November ballot measure would raise income taxes on California's highest earners and raise the state sales tax a quarter of a cent.

Donors giving $100,000 or more include the California Faculty Association, California Association of Hospitals and Health Systems, and a California School Employees Association political action committee.

In addition, Brown reported raising more than 800-thousand dollars so far this year for his 2014 re-election bid.

He now has more than $6 million cash on hand. The third-term governor has not yet said if he will run for re-election.
