Is California like Greece? It's a comparison that just won't die.  Politicians and Cali-phobics like to put California and Greece side by side with an equal sign between them as a way to illustrate the scope of the Golden State's dysfunction.  But anyone who's paying close attention knows that the comparison isn't accurate.  Jordan Weissmann is a business reporter for The Atlantic and he has recently pulled the rug out from under anyone who compares California and Greece with an article that lays out cold hard facts about the two very different economies.
