Insight: Life on Mars? / Starting Snippet / SXSW Showcases / Kushman by the Bottle

Life on Mars? NASA announced on Tuesday that the Curiosity Rover had found evidence that ancient Mars could have supported living microbes. The rover identified several key elements for life such as nitrogen, carbon and hydrogen in powder drilled out of a sedimentary rock near an ancient stream bed in Gale Crater on Mars last month. Joining us to explain more about the discovery is UC Davis Geology Professor Dawn Sumner, who is also a co-investigator for NASA's Mars Science Laboratory team.
