This week's record-breaking temperatures are expected to continue for a few more days around Lake Tahoe.

People, dogs and children are playing. Wednesday and Thursday highs were in the mid 60's here, matching and surpassing records set in 2007.

Erin Aredon is wearing a sweatshirt. She says she is a little overdressed. Al Laurence is a little underdressed wearing only his shorts.
LAURENCE: "Cool off, done a little hiking today and now I am going to jump in the water."
"So you have taken off all your clothes and you are standing in the sun."

He ran down the beach, handed a stranger a towel, splashed in and then back out.

Above normal temperatures are expected to continue through the weekend and into early next week. Then, snow, rain and cold are expected to return.
