Some wore jerseys.  Some accessorized with purple hats and beads.  One fan wore a giant velvet crown and purple robe to Sleep Train Arena.  None of them will speak before the NBA Board of Governors meetings in New York City.  But, what if they could?  This is what some of them would say.
Carrie Migrow, "I would probably say or vote for an expansion team for Seattle and leave the Kings here."  "We have a great fan base that we're ready and willing to build an arena.  We've always been loyal to the Kings.  I mean, you can't ask for a better fan base."

Phil Oates, "I would tell them that no NBA team's fans are more passionate than we are and passion has to figure in your decision."

Lynn Macintosh, "I'm the first generation.  I have three generations of Kings fan in my family.  And so that's one of the reasons I want them to stay here, because I've been a die-hard Kings fan and I want that to be there for my son and his children and other children past that.  I'm not sure what I could tell the Board of Governors that would convince them to leave the Kings here, other than that I just don't think you can correct Seattle's problem by destroying another city's fans. And I think Sacramento has done absolutely everything asked of it."

The Kings lost 112-108 to the Los Angeles Clippers, but about 5,000 fans stayed long after the final buzzer.  They chanted the name of the city, the city's mayor, the team's broadcasters, and roared as the team's players came out to throw t-shirts into the stands.

The NBA will let them know if they were heard when the owners vote -possibly by the end of the first week in May.
