Ron Trujillo

Veteran business journalist Ron Trujillo is editor of the
Sacramento Business Journal, overseeing news operations of the
weekly newspaper. Trujillo, 39, was previously business editor of
The Press-Enterprise, a 190,000-circulation daily newspaper in
Riverside. He also served as business editor of The Fresno Bee <
central California¹s largest newspaper, with daily circulation of
160,000 < from October 2002 through September 2005. That
business section was honored by the Society of American Business
Editors & Writers in 2004.
He started his journalism career as a general assignment reporter in 1989 with the Visalia Times-Delta; he soon started covering business for the daily newspaper. He completed an internship at USA TODAY's MONEY section in 1995 and 1996. After completing the internship, he joined the Santa Barbara News-Press, covering business development, the energy industry and real estate.
