On Thursday evening at Sacramento City Hall, Mayor Kevin Johnson’s arena task force finally unveiled all the details on the seven proposals that came in. But already, a group that wants to build an arena at the Railyards property just north of downtown is trying to get a leg up on the rest.
It’s touting the support of both the NBA and the Maloof family, which owns the Sacramento Kings And one of the mayor’s top political advisors, David Townsend, says he’s working with that group as well.
