A startup company connected to a South Korean information technology firm will open a massive solar-panel manufacturing plant at McClellanPark, possibly creating about 150 jobs during the next few years. N Solar Inc. is expected to open the 128,000-square-foot plant — about the size of a Wal-Mart store — by September.

The company, a division of Millinet, an information technology equipment manufacturer, chose the capital region because of its access to state government, low cost of operations and nearby solar partners.  The company is the latest green business to open in the Sacramento region, which had the largest creation of green-related jobs between 1995 and 2008. About 4,700 green jobs were created during the 13-year period.
