This week, the Sacramento Ballet returns to the Community Center Theatre after canceling last year's season there. Co-artistic director Ron Cunningham is a little apprehensive but thinks his program of popular works should boost ticket sales.

For decades the Sacramento Community Center Theatre has been the performance home of the Sacramento Ballet. But last year the Ballet was forced to abandon the 23-hundred seat venue for economic reasons. Tonight, the dancers return to the theatre, and all eyes will be on them. As for the Sacramento Ballet’s Ron Cunningham, he’ll also be watching the box office. He spoke yesterday with Capital Public Radio’s Paul Conley
