"We have a Trailblazer overturned in the traffic lane. The greyhound bus hits that vehicle, veers off to the right, hits a second vehicle, travels down an embankment, and hits a large eucalyptus tree before coming to rest."

Three of the Trailblazer passengers died. So did three of the 36 people on the bus, including the driver, who’s from Sacramento. A statement from Greyhound describes the driver as a 32-year employee with a clean record. The DMV says the driver’s only ticket was for failing to register his personal vehicle.
The CHP says some of the injured are at Fresno-area hospitals. Others only had minor cuts or bruises.
Greyhound sent a relief bus to take the remaining passengers to Sacramento.
