Federal Judge Vaughn Walker says banning gay marriage is unconstitutional. But same-sex marriage opponents have asked for a stay of execution while they appeal. So for now, Walker’s ruling is on hold. Mario Guerrero is with “Equality California,” a gay rights group. He says he’s celebrating cautiously.
“Our community will celebrate throughout the state and we’ll continue to work but definitely we know that this is not the end.”
