The four-county region — which has been one of the hardest hit housing markets in the nation — has one of the lowest percentages of homeowners cutting their asking price in recent months. And when homeowners in the Sacramento region do lower their asking price, it’s a modest 7 percent drop – one of the lowest in the nation.
Now, one of every four homeowners dropped their asking price during the past month nationwide, including 42 percent of homes listed in Minneapolis, that’s the highest rate on the list.  But several California cities, including Fresno, San Diego, San Jose and Los Angeles, are also high on the price-reduction list, finally giving Sacramento homeowners something to brag about.
