The Citizens Redistricting Commission is a group of 14 Californians tasked with redrawing the states district lines.

Among the few issues Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger voiced an opinion on this Election were prop 20 - which expands the commission's power and prop 27 - which would have eliminated the group. Schwarzenegger says voters made their opinion clear on Election Day.

"The message was you know that we are fed up with gridlock, we're fed up with the partisan bickering that is going on and we're fed up with our leaders lacking the courage to stand up to the special interests."

Schwarzenegger was one of the most vocal supporters of Prop 11 two years ago as well. That was the measure that created the commission in the first place. Previously, the state legislature was in charge of drawing its own district lines.
