Governor's Bear Might Stay, but He's Taking the Smoking Tent

Schwarzenegger pitched the iconic smoking tent in the courtyard of the Capitol complex. His press secretary, Aaron McLear says Schwarzenegger held a lot memorable meetings in it over the years.

"He always thought it was more relaxing and a better environment to talk to the different leaders about what's going on than a stuffy conference room so he loves the smoking tent he's going to take that with him."

As for the big bronze bear statue Schwarzenegger bought in Aspen to guard the governor's office doors, he's willing to loan that out to incoming governor Jerry Brown. The governor-elect hasn't said if he's going to accept yet.

McLear says the governor hasn't given much thought to who will paint his official portrait yet. And when it comes to exit interviews, Schwarzenegger's given one to a local T-V station and another to a news paper editorial board, but that's it for now.
