Warning From Anti-Tax Groups

Dozens of anti-tax and tea party activists from around the state gathered in Sacramento for a summit.  And they made one thing abundantly clear to lawmakers: In their eyes, a vote to put Governor Brown's tax extension proposal on the ballot is a vote in support of it.  Here's Jon Fleischman, who runs the conservative website "the Flash Report:"

"The six republican politicians who voted to increase our taxes two years ago are all out of the state Capitol today, most of whom suffered embarrassing defeats in pursuit of higher office."

Nearly all GOP state lawmakers have signed an anti-tax pledge.  However, Jerry Brown needs a few Republican votes to put the tax measure that would extend car, income and sales tax increases on the ballot.  The anti-tax groups say they are already assembling resources to fight it if that happens.
