The people in charge of the Capitol Corridor are adding more cars and amenities to accommodate the new riders.
"Getting new train sets or new cars is not as simple as when you go out and by a new truck or new car," aqccording to Luna Salavar, with Capitol Corridor.
She says it takes about three years to get additional cars for a train once funding is secured. CalTrans secured federal grant money for additional cars last year.
"So we predict by 2013, 2014, we'll have more cars on our trains to accommodate the additional riders," Salavar said.
Salavar says the one thing all riders ask for most is wireless internet. She says all trains will have it by the end of the year.
