The annual event is a celebration of multi-ethnic culture with food, art and entertainment from more than 20 Latino cultures and countries, including: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
Veronica Delgado is one of the festival's organizers. She says this year, there's a big emphasis on dance.
"We have three stages of non-stop entertainment. One stage is actually dedicated to, it's the Open Dance stage in Building B and throughout the day, every hour, will be a new professional dance instructor to teach you how to salsa, to teach you the bachata and the tango and to really get excited and participate."
This year marks the 20th anniversary of Festival de la Familia. It'll be held this Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM at Cal Expo.
