Sacramento's B Street Theatre performs in front of about 200 thousand children each year.  This morning they performed in front of about 10 children at Sutter Memorial's pediatric ward.

Play Excerpt: "Well what is it doctor There seems to be a problem with your son's brain.  Well what is it?  It's missing.  Missing!?"

Amy Medovoy is the Child Life Coordinator at Sutter Children's Center.  She says the B Street performs at the hospital a couple times a year.
AMY MEDOVOY: "It really just brings something special to their day and takes them away from what they're her in the hospital for."
Jamie Romas manages the theatre troupe.
JAMIE RAMOS: "We have been doing this for 25 years and actually the B Street Theater was founded as a children's theater, which not everyone knows."

Romas says all the plays are written by children who live in the Sacramento area.  She says Sutter's new 29th Street medical center will have a stage specifically for these types of performances.
