Johnson says the National Basketball Association's fact-finding delegation was impressed with the investments from the city's corporate community and the support from the regional governments.

"I feel like it's the fourth quarter and I don't feel like we're tied yet or up, but I feel like we're definitely not down 20 points and I feel like we've brought that lead to something manageable and we actually have a shot to win this game."

Johnson also says an L.A. Times report that the Kings will be staying in Sacramento next season is only a rumor.  He says the NBA will send another fact-finding delegation next week to make final determinations.

He says May second is when city will know if the Kings are staying in Sacramento.
