<<"Who Let The Dog's Out?">>

The question Doggie Dash organizers are asking is: how many people will let the dogs out for a 5K walk if it's raining tomorrow?

Lesley Kirrene is with the Sacramento SPCA.

"We keep seeing everything from a few all day showers to maybe just a few sprinkles in the morning and then nothing more until later afternoon, until after the event is over.  So I figure we can handle a few light showers."

Kirrene says five thousand people were expected to attend the charity dog walk and the following Bark at the Park Festival.  Now, that number is closer to four thousand.  Kirrene says the event usually makes about $250 thousand for the SPCA.  Now, organizers are hoping to fetch $200 thousand.
Rain or shine, the dog walk will start tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock.
