"Think Big Sacramento" is 46 days into the 100 day time limit they set for themselves to come up with the best list of funding options.

In Eldorado County, businessman Kevin Nagle says communities and businesses might help build the arena with fees or contributions.  They might then be very visible vendors once it's open.

NAGLE: "We've got a number of products and services that exist all over our region, things like microbreweries, we're the nation's leader in unique candies, types of nuts, fruits, and other products and services where we're the largest producer."

To offer proof an arena in the City of Sacramento would benefit the entire region, the group released a new study.  It shows more than half of all people who attend events at Power Balance Pavillion come from outside the city and county of Sacramento.  The Think Big group's schedule included stops in Roseville, Davis and Rancho Cordova.

Executive Director Chris Lehane (leh HAYN) pitched the arena to those four cities as a job creator and business partner.

Lehane: "Can we figure out a way we can showcase regional products, i.e. the wine inside the facility.  That makes perfect sense, right?  That maybe translates into the wine folks actually wanting to be more involved as sponsors .  Or buying seat licenses or buying signage."

A study the group commissioned last month says a new arena would create 4,000 new jobs
