Farm Workers Long March to Sacramento

RODRIGUEZ: "And we are getting lots of folks that are honking us horns and wishing us well and giving us water."

United Farm Workers President Arturo Rodriguez is leading the 150-mile march.  The union is planning a rally in Sacramento Sunday aimed at changing Brown's mind.
RODRIGUEZ: "Well we have a lot of faith and confidence that if we keep encouraging the governor to do the right thing, then he is going to do the right thing."
The measure Brown vetoed would have made it easier for farm workers to organize through a process known as "card check."  When he vetoed the bill, the governor said he was not yet convinced such "drastic change" was justified.  Talks are under way at the Capitol which could involve a potential compromise bill, but time is running short before the legislature adjourns next week.
