The group says 23 of its members were arrested overnight.

Sacramento Police Sergeant Norm Leong was at the park last night and said the department's stance remains the same:

"…which is respect the right to protest…but we are going to enforce the ordinance that closes the park at 11 PM tonight, as well as making sure that no one is in violation of our camping ordinance. We have been working with the Occupy Sacramento group on a daily basis to allow them to continue to protest throughout the night without violating any of those laws."

Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan was also at last night's protest. She's been to Occupy events throughout the country and said she came to last night's event since it's the closest to her home in Vacaville.

Sheehan says the Occupy Sacramento movement has been relatively subdued:

"…compared to some of the other cities where people have been beat up and shot at and tear gassed and pepper sprayed it's been pretty restrained. But also, the movement here has been very cooperative with the authorities to make sure that nobody gets hurt."

Occupy Sacramento says police have made 110 arrests since Occupy Sacramento started two-months ago.
